Grab your favorite beverage and join us for Coffee & Connection, a casual one-hour Zoom session hosted by ALP's Membership Director, Zoë Lewis-Monkman.

This is the perfect opportunity for new and existing members to connect, ask questions, and learn more about the benefits of being part of the ALP community. Zoë will answer questions, share insights about ALP's resources and programs while providing tips to help you make the most of your membership.

Whether you're looking to network, deepen your involvement, or simply get to know the ALP team, this laid-back session is a great way to start. Let’s build connections and spark ideas together—one cup of coffee at a time!

Don't miss this chance to connect, collaborate, and caffeinate with Zoë and fellow ALP members!

In an era when traditional leadership approaches fall short, this engaging and interactive session reveals the powerful intersection of joyful leadership and organizational success. Drawing from real-world examples and evidence-based practices, discover how inspired leadership directly impacts several key outcomes—from employee retention to bottom-line growth. But don't just learn it; practice it! This session was one of our highest-rated workshops from the 2025 ALP National Conference in Fort Worth, and we can't wait to bring it to all of our members virtually!

Moving beyond conventional leadership theory and antiquated approaches, this session provides actionable strategies to transform your leadership style from effective to truly inspirational. We'll work together through a variety of activities to identify powerful personal leadership attributes and learn how to create an environment where people excel, teams thrive, innovation flourishes, and results follow. You'll gain knowledge, strategies, practical tools, and the confidence to become the leader who not only drives performance but inspires lasting positive change in your organization.

Accreditation strengthens community confidence and affirms an organization's commitment to delivering the highest quality service and programming. In alignment with these goals, the Association of Leadership Programs (ALP) has formed an exploratory Accreditation Committee to support the development of an accreditation process for Community Leadership Programs nationwide.

While every Community Leadership Program is unique, accreditation confirms competency, sustainability, compliance, and adherence to recognized best practices. It distinguishes organizations from competitors, builds goodwill, and supports funding efforts.

The Accreditation Committee will gather on the third Monday of each month at 1:00 PM ET. This effort is being championed by Tara Sargent (Leadership Washington County) and Sasha Smith (Leadership North Houston). For more information, please contact Lura Hammond at info@alpleaders.org.
