Event Description
This workshop explores leadership through a human-centered lens, emphasizing empathy, belonging, and the value of lived experience. Participants will examine how generational perspectives, identity, and intersectionality shape leadership and community engagement, and how to create environments where all voices are valued.

Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
  • Understand principles and practices of human-centered leadership
  • Recognize and value diverse perspectives within leadership programs
  • Meet individuals where they are in their development journeys
  • Explore how generational and lived experiences shape leadership styles
  • Build inclusive, empathetic environments that strengthen participation and impact
This course is included in ALP's Certified Community Leadership Practitioner (CCLP) designation curriculum but is open to anyone eager to deepen their leadership knowledge, regardless of whether they are pursuing the CCLP designation.
