Leading with Intention: Integrating Contemporary Leadership Theories

Event Description
This session explores how modern leadership theories can be intentionally integrated into community leadership program design, participant experiences, and personal leadership development. Participants will examine how frameworks such as Situational Leadership, Servant Leadership, and Strengths-Based Leadership can shape curriculum, strengthen participant growth, and foster purpose-driven leadership in complex community environments.

Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
  • Embed contemporary leadership theories into program curriculum and structure
  • Design experiential learning opportunities that reinforce leadership concepts
  • Support participants in applying leadership models to civic and professional roles
  • Foster self-awareness, adaptability, and purpose-driven leadership through theory-informed practice
