A Pacesetter Membership is a select level of membership specially designed for ALP members who are the most progressive...those who serve as the models and exemplars of the industry. A Pacesetter is someone who thinks two steps ahead, not where we are today but where we should be in the future.

Pacesetters gather virtually every month to level up their conversations and challenge their colleagues from across the nation. For more information, click here.

A key ALP member benefit is connecting virtually with other members via Affinity Groups on a specific topic of interest.

An ALP member/champion facilitates these ongoing, intact groups. Members of the group share and gain ideas, insights, best practices, inspiration, and more.

The Zoom link for each affinity group is only shared with members who have opted-in to specific groups. To sign up for an affinity group, click here

For members who are signed up for Affinity Groups, you can access the Zoom link through the "projects/committees" drop-down after logging into the ALP website.

When recruiting board members, many organizations focus on how much money candidates can contribute. However, when we intentionally ensure diverse representation in these important decision-making positions, board members can play a key role in securing various resources that grow organizations' sustainability. In this 90 minute virtual interactive Leadership Connections session, we will identify gaps in resources and identity representation and explore a tool that can help us address both to strengthen our organizations and communities.

About the Speaker: Rebecca Hutton serves as President & CEO as well as the Program Director for the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series at Leadership Indianapolis. Prior to her involvement with Leadership Indianapolis, she served as the CEO of Theater of Inclusion, a company that develops and implements community engagement projects using the arts. Throughout her career, Rebecca’s work has focused on developing programs that engage people on the issues of creative place-making, leadership, and legacy. Rebecca’s community leadership has included serving on the Love Indy committee as a part of Plan 2020: The Bicentennial Plan for Indianapolis, the board of the Indiana Repertory Theater, and the planning committee for TEDxIndianapolis. She was named an Indianapolis Foundation Fellow in 2016 and an Arts Council of Indianapolis Creative Renewal Fellow in 2009. She has also been honored with the Indiana Governor’s Award for Tomorrow’s Leaders and was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in 2005. Rebecca graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Dance from Point Park College in Pittsburgh and, upon graduation, danced with The Repertory Project in Cleveland before returning to Indianapolis. She is a proud graduate of SKL Class XXXVII.
