Step inside Omaha’s creative engine for an immersive, hands-on experience at Hot Shops Art Center—home to one of the region’s most vibrant communities of working artists. Guided by local arts leaders, including a Leadership Omaha alum, you’ll go beyond observation to witness and participate in the creative process.  Watch molten glass take shape in a live demonstration, then work alongside skilled artists to create your own piece in a guided glassblowing experience. As you explore the studios and meet the makers behind the work, gain insight into the role artists play in shaping community, driving innovation, and bringing ideas to life.  Participants will create and take home their own hand blown glass piece, stamped with an Omaha-inspired design
