Peer Connections

Peer Connections offers a monthly opportunity to connect virtually with your peers through interactive conversations. Attendees are encouraged to ask open-ended questions and share what's on their minds.
 
You will have access to others who do what you do, face challenges similar to yours, and are continually innovating to move their programs and their communities forward despite current conditions. You can ask others for input on a big or small issue, compare notes, or share your wins. The people in ALP share generously, so you may apply new ideas that could help your program.
 
Peer Connections sessions can benefit you right away, and through attending you will also experience one small aspect of ALP’s member benefits: being in the room with people who do what you do.
CCLP CORE Training

The Certified Community Leadership Practitioner (CCLP) certification is designed to enhance individual performance, elevate professional standards, and recognize association, chamber of commerce, and other nonprofit professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of program development in a leadership organization.

Candidates must complete 16 hours of CORE training before proceeding to the pre-designated coursework.  The CORE training will be offered, in-person over two days:  June 26 and June 27, 2022. This training takes place prior to the kickoff of the 2022 ALP National Conference. 

The CORE training covers the following modules:
  • Module 1: Program Scope
  • Module 2: Program Specifics
  • Module 3. Program Strategies
  • Module 4. Program Systems
  • Module 5. Program Sustainability

Registration Cost
  • ALP Members - $600
  • Non-Members - $1,000

Conference Excursion: Kennedy Space Center Tour

Join your Leadership colleagues from across the nation on a day trip from the Rosen Plaza Hotel to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex℠! 

This package includes roundtrip transportation from the Rosen Plaza Hotel departing at 9:00 AM ET on Monday, June 27 to the KSC Visitor Complex, returning to the Rosen Plaza Hotel around 3:30 PM that afternoon. This package also includes your ticket to explore the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex℠. Light refreshments will be provided during transportation.
