Over the past decades, we have seen a tight packaging of leadership, leadership training, and public relations to protect corporate and individual brands. While many of these accepted definitions and principles of leadership are sound, it seems that pithy sayings and slick platitudes are no longer working as effectively as many of us would like. We live in a time that requires authentic, sincere, genuine, and practiced leadership that begins, is processed, and ends within each of us. Some of what we have learned needs to be unlearned. Some of us need to relearn how to walk as leaders again. Some of us need to unwrap our leadership package and expose our humanity, with humility, transparency, and vulnerability. Perhaps we can become the leader we each need

Facilitator Bio:

Max Lambdin, MSM is a leading member of the Community and Donor Relations Team at the National Exchange Club headquarters in Toledo, Ohio. He is also a business & non-profit consultant and advisor. Before delivering actionable results in his current roles, Max has served on executive and leadership teams at Cherry Street Mission Ministries, Thrivent Financial, John Hancock, and Owens Corning. He has demonstrated success in the execution of non-profit leadership and development, strategic implementation, team organization, organizational development, training, sales, sales management, marketing, and operations across many sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Toledo and a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Max is married to his wife Deborah for many wonderful years and they have 3 teenage children together and when not at home enjoy lake time in Northern Michigan and on Kelly's Island, Lake Erie.
