Event Description
What is “whiteness” and how has the concept of race shaped our nation’s history? These inquiries are at the heart of Seeing White, a 14-part documentary podcast series produced by Scene on Radio host and producer John Biewen. Biewen, along with a diverse panel scholars and frequent guest Dr. Chenjerai Kumanyika, delve deep into the implication of “whiteness” in America.
Over the course of eight weeks, participants will listen to segments of the podcast series and during our gatherings we will discuss issues covered in the episodes.
Sessions will be held each Thursday from 4:30-6:00 PM via Zoom beginning March 4.Location

Events will be held virtually and a Zoom link will follow registration. Attendees are encouraged to attend all sessions and the cost is $25 in total for the Podcast Club. We do not want cost to be a barrier, so please reach out to us with any concerns.
